UCD GAME ON FRIDAY AND SHOW THE LADS WE ARE BEHIND THEM 100%.WHAT DATES
ARE THE PLAY OFS ON?
G'day lads,
I'm afraid you are out of luck. The "Hoops" play St Pats tonight and then
their next game is on the 19th of sept at home to UCD at 19.45. So unless
you change your flights or whatever you will miss them, and the way they are
playing at the moment that might not be such a tragedy!

We are two Dunfermline supporters going to Dublin on 11th Sept until
16th Sept and were wondering if there were any Shamrock Rover games
on whilke we were there. Please could anyone help us and give us
some idea where the ground is and how we would get there from the
city centre. We just thought we would pay our respects to the team
that gave us Noel Hunt.
Hello all. I just found this site. I am a Hoops fan from the US.
I follow the team via the Internet. Am interested in knowing if
anyone has pictures of the team during matches or videos of the
games. Ive never seen a live match.
Well andy, i reckon id rather be australia then horrible rainy ireland at the
moment.
As you know there is no real deveopment on the tallaght front except now we have
a new board of directors which i feel will be good for the club both on and off
the pitch.
Trevor Molloy scored his second goal for rovers last sunday out in bray. A game
which we deserved to win but of course after we scored our first goal in the
first 15mins we sat back and let bray control the game.
i had to work saturday night so i didnt make it to the nil all longford game,
but i heard it was a major disaster so theres little to report on that front.
Its obvious that oul "beach boy" mark kenny will never play for the first team
again. He has been a regular in the stand during the matches and isnt even
getting his game in the reserves.
Tony cousins is doing really well with the reserves and uner 21's. He seams to
be building up a good side of young players, one of them Stephan Gough who plays
left full has gotten his game with the first team for the last 4 games and he
looks really strong back with scully and palmer in our defence.
Noel hunt is still playing as well as ever and rumour has it bucko bought molloy
as a repacement for hunty as there is stong interest from clubs in both england
and scotland. Dunfermlin is the club which is showing much interest. So hunty
might be in bonny we scotland next season.
Our maltese midfielder luke demeich is getting on well.He didnt have a good game
for the cup final but he is strong and consistant. Maybe if he didnt spend so
many nights strutting his stuff in the plaza he could concentrate on his
football.Ha!Ha!ha!
How long are yopu in australia for? What has you out there? Hope this news was
sufficiant.
KEEP ON HOOPIN!!!!!!!!!

hello there.
i am a shamrock rovers fan who was at the game last night. I am having a great
time in sweden and i find stockholm a very beautiful city.
i was in the dubliner last night when all the trouble started. it is terrible to
see because personaly i have no problems with djurgaren fans as they had been
very friendly and welcoming. and when they came to us in ireland we made them
feel very welcome. i think its a pity they repay our kindness like this. i know
being a hammarby IF fan you hate djurgarden. i have heard that the reason the
djurgarden fans attacked the dubliuner is because they thought that there were
hammerby fans at the pub. but personally i dont beleive that. Because friends
of mine who were sitting outside the bar siad they were shouting abusive things
to them like " you irish pigs etc, etc".
i go home sunday and i think i will go to the dubliner tonight but im not sure.
talk to you soon.

We are supporters of another team in Stockholm, Hammarby IF, who got the

Ireland once or twice so its not only the colours which matters
tomorrow.
We will start the evening at the pub "The Dubliner" in the city centre,
not far from the tube to the arena. We got a game on our own tonight, so
problably we´ll need some pints to cure the hangover ;-)
A lot of in sweden living irish and scottish people will also join.
We hope we´ll see you there!
Very welcome to Stockholm!

Hello,
I hope that I don't disturb you. I don't want to spam your mailbox. I
live in Belgium. Since five years I collect the football tickets and
I am looking for a lot of used tickets from the European match
between SHAMROCK ROVERS and DJURGARDEN. Is it possible for you to
send them here in my country if you attend this match and if you
don't need these tickets please? Thank you very much for your
precious collaboration. Best greetings from Belgium.

Hello there!
I am a Djurgårdens IF supporter and I will be coming over to you in august
so therefor I got some questions:
-What is your average attendances at home?
-On what ground will we be playing? Tolka or Tallaght?
-What stand is for the away fans and what´s the capacity for that and for
the whole ground?
Hope you can help me out so far.
Regards

Oh, boy - are you gonna get your asses kicked in the first round
of the UEFA CUP.
I mean - come on. You are facing a quality team like.. yeah like
DIF! Yes, DIF - Djurgårdens IF, at the moment the best team in
Sweden.
Cheers, and better luck next year.. or something.
Interesting draw for the FAI cup yesterday.
Cork City should prove a bit tricky - especially at home. They're going
quite well at the moment.
We'll see how we do against them this Friday.
Come on the Hoops.

Things to do in the next week:
Friday: Watch Hoops beat Bohs (again). Rovers stay top.
Saturday: Watch Ireland beat Iran.
Thursday: Watch Ireland beat Iran again and qualify for Japan and Korea.
ps
Thursday might be tricky. The match's on at 1:30 in the afternoon.
