Darren,
Can we start working on the form online and then
return later to finish? Or do we have to finish it and submit it in one
sitting?
It's pretty straight forward. All
fields are mandatory unless otherwise noted. Also, certain characters, such as
#, /,?, @, etc. may not be allowed in certain blanks. This is done for security
purposes. If any part of it is incomplete or has invalid characters, a box will
appear that says that you need to complete a section or that you can't use a
character in that field.
The online form is definitely the
easiest way to go. If you are a complete technophobe, then you may choose to do
ratings on a Microsoft Word form that you print out. There are two options. One
is a form field, meaning that you choose your answers from the drop-down menus
and type in the blanks; in other words, you fill it out on your computer and
then print it out. That form is here: http://www.sgvbaseballumps.org/ratings/formfield.doc.
The other form is one that you print out and then fill out by hand. That one is
here: http://www.sgvbaseballumps.org/ratings/regular.doc
No matter which option you choose,
remember that you need to rate every partner after every game. It's easiest to
do it as soon as you get home so the game is still fresh in your mind. The
online version will take about 5 minutes to fill out.
If you have any questions about the
ratings forms or any other thing on the website, please don't hesitate to email
or call me. I'm happy to help out.
It's pretty straight forward. All fields are mandatory unless otherwise noted. Also, certain characters, such as #, /,?, @, etc. may not be allowed in certain blanks. This is done for security purposes. If any part of it is incomplete or has invalid characters, a box will appear that says that you need to complete a section or that you can't use a character in that field.
The online form is definitely the easiest way to go. If you are a complete technophobe, then you may choose to do ratings on a Microsoft Word form that you print out. There are two options. One is a form field, meaning that you choose your answers from the drop-down menus and type in the blanks; in other words, you fill it out on your computer and then print it out. Just a quick reminder that scrimmages are this weekend and
are MANDATORY. Please show up RAIN or SHINE and be sure to sign in. Be prepared
to work a scrimmage even if it is raining where you live. It may be sunny and
dry at your scrimmage site. Even if it is raining, you still need to show up
and sign in.
Also, remember that the study guide must be completed before
Monday. To access the online study guide, you can go through the unit’s
website, www.sgvbaseballumps.org,
or go to the study guide directly by going here: http://www.cifsportsofficials.org/
. Complete directions for logging on to the study guide are on the unit’s
website. If you are having problems with the online study guide, make sure you
contact Ron Sowers and/or a board member.
Have a great scrimmage and a great weekend, and I’ll
see you at our meeting on Monday night.
I am scheduled for a scrimmage on 2/26, I am also sceduled for a softball scrimmage on the same day, do you have any opening on 2/23 that I could be moved to?? If so let me know, so I can advise softball re same, thanks, JOHN WRAY
