If you need to know what equipment you need to play hockey, check out

got a list of everything you need, with example pictures and sizing
information. If you have any additional questions, please ask. :-)

In the meantime, check out Play It Again Sports near you for used
equipment. These stores are all over the place; look in the White
Pages for one near you.
In San Francisco, the Yerba Buena Ice Center has a pro shop; in
Oakland, check out the Oakland ICe Center; in San Jose, check out the
San Jose Ice Center's pro shop.

In San Mateo, East-West Hockey on El Camino Real has a good
selection. In San Jose, try Power Play Hockey a few blocks south of
the Shark Tank, the Hockey Workout on 4th near US 101, and the pro
shop at Eastridge Mall's ice skating rink. In Fremont, there's the
pro shop at the Iceoplex. I'll have maps soon. :-)
