The San Francisco Spikes is a non-profit, predominantly gay, social organization which provides people an opportunity to play soccer in a positive and friendly environment. We also field a competitive soccer team for participation in the Marin Soccer League, the San Francisco Soccer and Football League, the IGLFA annual World Cup, and other gay soccer tournaments within the United States. Members come from a wide variety of social and economic backgrounds. We are an international group of players, including many from other countries, such as Brazil, France, Germany, Guatemala, Holland, Italy, Lebanon, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, the Philippines, Taiwan and Trinidad and Tobago.
