I came close to signing up for that ride last year, but since I hadn't ever done any brevets, ultimately decided against it. This year I finished my first brevet series (minus a 1200K), and am very excited to try a mixed terrain populaire. I'd be using an Atlantis.

Hi All,
Last year I mapped a mixed terrain (paved and fire roads) route for
the populaire but only a few people registered and so the event was
cancelled. This year I've been doing many mixed terrain rides and came
up with an nicer ~100k route that is about 50% paved 50% on fire
roads.
Who's interested in doing this type of ride and should we consider
adding the Populaire once again the callendar? The route is doable in
an all-rounder bicycle. Some of us have been doing this rides on
Saturdays.
