I hope everyone had a pleasant Easter.

A small contingent meandered around the Falls on Monday, trying to best the wily temptress that she is. There were quite a few impressive shots made, and a few mishaps as well. In the end, it was a two horse race for the lead, and a two man battle to not be last. James was flopping around in the middle, unable to make a late charge, but secure in his 3rd place finish.

After 9 holes, Shooby had yours truly by two strokes. After 10 and 11, we were tied, and after 12 I was up by two. After 13, we were tied again, and after 14 I was again up by two. After holes 15 and 16, we are yet gain, tied. Shooby confides in James, that he doesn't stand a chance, with the big arm holes left. James then offers a dollar to anyone that hits the 3rd stake holding the silt fence, about 8ft off the tee pad of 17. Unknowing of the bet, Shooby obliges anyway. He proceeds to take a 6 to my drop in 4 and I'm up by two with one hole to play. I take the Angel Cabrera route, and two putt my way to victory with a drop in 3. It was a battle until the end.

At the other end of the card, Cory and Mark were fighting to not be crowned DFL king. After nine holes, Cory was up by one stroke. There were some strokes traded back and forth through the back, but on 16 it got all tied up. An errant tee shot by Cory and some excellent scrambling work my Mark notched the golfers even with just two holes to play. Still tied after a struggle on 17, it seemed as though they may end up tied. Cory was digging deep for some herculean power, perhaps inspired by a previous throw, and tried to put his Groove in to orbit. He instead almost black aced on 5A's basket, and had to settle for a disappointing 5. Mark played "safe" to the far right, and made it up and down for a drop in bogey and the win.

James was trudging along, stringing some nice shots together, but just couldn't make up the ground to be a contender. He did make a nice birdie 3 on 13B, but couldn't manage to clear the OB on 18B.

Highlights:
Shooby pars 2B
Shooby pars 9B
Brad birdies 12B
James birdies 13B
Brad birdies 14B
Shooby pars 16
Brad pars 17B
Brad pars 18B

Lowlights:
everything else....

Don't forget, TAGS! If you want one, get me $15 ASAP! The sooner we have the money, the sooner we'll get the tags.

See you on the course!
-Brad
