When will the baskets be moved back to the A positions for beginners and recreational players?

12 golfers enjoyed a pleasantly overcast Sunday. We had 3 players that
hadn't joined us before on a Sunday round, and one player seemingly back
from retirement.
A call was put out, and Random Draw Doubles for $2 was the response.

Looking over the scorecards there was some well played golf going on out
there. Quite a few birdies and not too many doubles. Russ, Dave and Andy
moved all the pins to B on Friday, and we played 5,15, 16 and 18 A
pin/pads. Par for the layout was 63.

Having shot the best round of his life on Friday, Russ was sure he
couldn't catch lightning in a bottle again. He was wrong. I counted two
bad shots in 18 holes of golf.

I hope the $2 buy in doesn't scare anyone away. It always has been and
always will be optional. We just want people to come out and play!

Totals
Russ Johnston/Dave Briscoe 57! $10
Wayne Nordberg/Shawn Wenger 61 $8
Tyson and Greg Walter 62
Brad/James Reaves 64
Pete/Justin 67
Nick/Bryan 71

If anybody has a lumber hook up, contact me. We're gonna need about 75
pressure treated 4x4x10's to construct the tee pad frames.

See you on the course!
-Brad

Sunday March 22nd is the Sherando Spartan PDGA C-Tier tournament. This
pretty much marks the beginning of the local PDGA season. I plan on
attending, if anyone wants to join me on my birthday weekend, let me know.

Other early season events I will be playing:
March 28th Boulder Bash VI, Boulder Woods/Quaker's Challenge,
Lewisberry, PA (Dave and Russ are in for this one.)
April 4th Patapsco Punisher, Patapsco State Park, Marriotsville, MD
(Russ is in for this one.)
May 2-3 Pennsylvania State Championships, Codorus State Park, Hanover, PA
August 22nd Whispering Falls Harvest II (everybody's in for this one!)

Beginners and recreational players are more than welcome to play the B pins. Don't tell me you're scared?
