Saturday brought cool temps with Zero wind making for a pleasant day for golf.  Andy and I made it out for an afternoon round which left us in a tie at the end of 18 leading to a 2 hole playoff which I finished victorious.  I dare not mentioned scores because of a strategic error on my part...something to do with fermented beverages.  The highlight of the day was that there were at least 3 and maybe 4 different groups playing a round while we were there.  Word is definitely getting out there.

Sunday also brought cool but wonderfully enjoyable disc golf weather.  The notorious B.R.A.D, Will Bill, and yours truly moved through a fun competitive round leaving B.R.A.D and I locked up after 17. Unfortunately I misplaced the card and will have to recite from memory (I cannot be held liable for any embellishments on my part due to memory alterations/enhancements as a result of the aging process)

Highlights

Russ throws a tight '08 Falls Harvest DX ROC that snakes through to park 7 for a drop in deuce (Tree love incident #1)

Russ parks 10 for the his first deuce on the A-PIN (Couldn't see but probably Tree love incident #2)

Brad launches a brand new disc (Don't recall model) and throws the best drive on 11 I have witnessed for a drop in deuce

Wild Bill comes away with the lone par on 13 after a nice drive and parking his approach

Russ deuces 15 with a flick Cro tactically placed at the base of the basket stairway (Probably Tree love incident #3 as shot was moving way left at the bottom)

Brad may have deuced a hole or 2 more but I can't remember

Lowlights

Wild Bill recorded his first negative distance throw (Russ and Brad giggled for a moment then both stopped realizing that they would not have been able to claim that it was a first for them)

Brad takes a 5 on 15 to bring Russ back into the running

Russ shorted at least 3 putts within 20ft

And finally Brad launches his drive on 18 into the parking lot after Russell summoned the wind gods at just the right moment leading to a 5 and a loss.

Final Damage

Russ 60

Brad 62

Wild Bill 84

Construction Notes:

#14: The left side of the fairway was leveled giving way for a new flick/lefty line but the main part of the hole is still intact (looks very strange)

#16B:  Is gone.  They leveled the entire area behind 16A but left a nice grove of trees around A.  Should be able to come up with a new B when construction is completed.
