Saturday saw myself and the elder Lescalleet at Creekside for their 2nd
annual Ice Bowl. What a good time! Definitely not the toughest course on
a dry day, but not the easiest when there is 3 inches of mud on all the
tee pads! And boy was the creek rolling! Between the two of us we left 7
discs in the water. Good times. I highly recommend making the trip to a
Creekside event, they are some of the most hospitable guests I've had
the privilege of meeting. Potato, cheddar and bacon soup, chips and
dips, a semi-warm fire and what other tournaments have you been to that
have two kegs going for lunch?

What a beautiful day we had for disc golf on Sunday! There were even a
few white winter legs sightings...
We started with 6 and opted to play singles and split into two groups.
As we were about to tee off, we got 2 stragglers and ended up forming
one super group. Super in size at least.

Wayne, Barrett and Cecil started on #5 so they would be sufficiently
warmed up when it came time to throw on 18 for the coveted CTP prize
being offered up. There was rumor of a few close calls on their card,
but I don't believe it for a minute...

Greg W., Tyson, James, Jon and myself started on #1, on what looked to
be a hilarious round. James would like everyone to know that he went
6/5/7 to start the round, and got to see parts of #3 that no one else
has had the privilege to enjoy... We had a few nice shots, my favorite
being J.Ott's near fairway ace from about 300ft. on #10; Ty thinks it
hit the cage when it dropped to the ground. The groups best hole was 14,
where we all somehow managed to get the 3.

Scores were tallied and money distributed. Wayne, feeling awful cocky
with his 67 demanded his winnings, only to be foiled be your ruthless
leader!

Cecil 86
J.Ott 85
Fat Jimmy 79
Barrett 78
Tyson 77
Gerg 74
Wayne 67 $3 CTP winner (Champ Sidewinder/Star Cro)
Brad 66 $5

Next week, same bat place, same bat time.
Just a friendly reminder; Boulder Woods Ice Bowl, Saturday Feb. 16th.
You should go to this.
Whispering Falls Freeze, Sunday Feb. 24th. You have to go to this.

Since there needs to be a little restocking after the debauchery at
Creekside, I will be placing a disc order tonight/tomorrow morning. Let
me know if you want anything.
See you on the course!
Brad
