Work effort!
A 5 man crew made a huge dent in the work load today!
Manimal, swanglow, Tpuff, Pap and Myself were sweatin' for almost 5hrs.
#3 aka "The Un-fairway to Heaven" is playable to both pins! B pin is
going to be a killer! Eagle pot anyone?
With the help of the trusty Kubota and brush-hawg we cleared out #7 A&B
pins, #8 tee and A&B pins, #9 tee and A&B pins, entrance trail to #10,
#16 tee and pin and #17 tee! We got a lot of work done today! But, we
still have a lot of work left to do.
#2: tee leveled, fairway cleared/lined, greens cleared
path to #3
#4: fairway cleared, green cleared, basket hung (you read right, hung!)
#5: tee leveled
#6: tee leveled, fairways cleared
#7: finishing clean up
#10: tee leveled, fairway cleared/lined
#13: tee leveled, fairway cleared, greens cleared
#14: tee leveled, fairway cleared, greens cleared
#15: fairway cleared, green cleared, basket platform built :)
With a little bit of elbow grease, we can have this knocked out in no
time! Everybody's effort thus far has been great, and greatly
appreciated. I know it can be tiresome, and there's other, more fun
things to be doing, but think of the future! Disc golf in your own backyard!
Maybe I'm the only one, but that's exciting!
Next week the troops will have to press on without their ruthless
leader. I'll be representin' 717FDC at the PA State Championships in
Indiana, PA. Wish me luck.
But have no fear, the work crew will be pressing on! Either #2 or #4 is
next to fall, depending on what the Township guys get done.
1:30p in the woods. No hanky panky.
