Having problems with message search?
Evening SE, It's your friendly neighbourhood co-ordinator here.
Basically, the Posties clearly don't have any Ultimate playing University students in their Union's upper echelons (aliteration, standard) If they did, they wouldn't have mucked up our registration the way they have. So far I have these numbers entered:
Brunel 1s, 2s, 3s
Surrey 1s, 2s, 3s
Mohawks 2s, 3s, 4s
Kent 1s, 2s
So the spots are filling up. I've had EOI's from the following teams who contacted me directly:
Mohawks 1s
Thrown 1s, 2s, 3s
Chichester 1s, 2s
UCL 1s, 2s
Essex 1s
Hu? 1s
And those teams cheques are 'in the post'. That doesn't mean they are entered however. If I was from one of those above teams, I would be contacting my SU just in case the cheque is still sat in their out tray.
I haven't heard anything from Sublime, LSE, Ruff or dD. If you're reading this message from one of those teams, I would be contacting each other to just make sure that these e-mails aren't just being spam blocked or something.
I really want as many teams to have the spots that they want but I have to give the spots to the first come first served cheques that arrived by post. Also, none of the teams that are 'in' so far handed me a cheque or anything, they had to brave the postal system with everyone else.
Can I also ask the London teams to come forward with accomodation for a big fat £25 refund. I know one member of thrown has volunteered his house but we obviously need more than that! Even if you think you may only be able to host a few players, please get in touch.
For everyone considering commuting, games will start at 8:50 on the Saturday but they start at Midday on the Sunday. If that convinces some teams to commute, can you guys also please get in touch with me?
