Hey,
The upcoming season's events calendar has been released (and I'm
rather happy with how it turned out), so I recommend you go download
it, print it out, and stick it on your wall to keep you on the ball
for the year.

Or for the calendar detailing only Uni events & EOI/Bid deadlines, see:
http://www.ukultimate.com/wmslib/uniultimate/Uni_Calendar_2006_v0.71.xls
I recommend you print it out in colour as it's all colour coded and
looks much prettier.
Which leads me on nicely to Indoor Regionals Bids.... I don't have any.
Yep, the EOI deadline passed on 1st September, and Aye-Aye had to pull
out because their halls were all booked up. So, does anyone else out
there want to do some research and put in a bid? I'll help you at
every step along the way, and you'll make a couple of hundred quid
from it. Bid deadline is 16th September - 8 days away.
We're screwed if people don't bid - we have to host indoor regionals,
division 2 indoor Nationals, outdoor regionals, and finally us or the
South-West have to host Outdoor Nationals and women's indoor
regionals. I can only urge people to look into venues, it's your game
in your hands, and if we don't have any bids then I can't see how
we're going to have any tournaments, quite simply.
I made a website for indoor regionals, linked from www.seultimate.org as always.
