Hi guys,

Right, as prior to the AGM noone had properly considered running for the
regional coordinator position last year, I decided to give people more time
and we would do an e-vote, so here we are. What I would like please, is a
short manifesto for all candidates, basically, 250 or so words just saying
why you want to do the job, whay you would be good at it, and what you aim
to achieve. Don't worry about sounding arrogant. There are two, possibly 3
candidates so far and I think I have no choice but to wait for a couple of
weeks till the actual vote to allow committees to discuss who they vote for.
The deadline for candidate entries will be a two weeks tomorow (Wednesday
20th April), followed by a week for committees to discuss and get me a
decision a week after that, midnight of Wednesday 27th April. If anyone has
any questions or comments on this process feel free to ask!

On another note, the plan, as discussed at the AGM, is to get the indoor
qualifying bid sorted out ASAP, ideally this term so we can have a large
enough venue to hold all the teams in the region and thier second teams so
if you are planning to host this, please start work on it!
