Description

Who are the SEMINOLE Cyclists? Located in the Seminole County, FL area, SEMINOLE Cyclists are spinning enthusiasts and outdoor cyclists who ride bicycles for recreation, fitness, training, and sport. The club has riders of all shapes, sizes, ages, and skill levels ranging from recreational to racing. We offer several types of regularly scheduled rides, so you can choose the ride that best suits your riding skill. All rides have designated leaders. For newer or less experienced riders, the ride leader makes sure, "No one gets left behind".

A - 20+ mph: Experienced Riders Only. Be able to read a map and change a flat. Very fast to racing pace.
B - 17-21 mph: Experienced Riders Only. Be able to read a map, change a flat, and ride 20 miles non-stop.
C - 15-18 mph: Be able to read a map and change a flat and ride 20 miles non-stop. Ride leader will make sure no rider is dropped.
D - 12-15 mph: Beginner Ride. Fitness level must be good for 20 miles non-stop. Ride leader will make sure no rider is dropped.
S - 10-15 mph: Leisurely, social ride. Distance varies. Ride leader will make sure no rider is dropped.
T - Tourist: Longer Rides at a slower pace. Be able to read a map, change a flat. Don't be upset if you get dropped.

Disclaimer: You are advised that you ride at your own risk, the rides carry no insurance, and there is no corporation involved to have insurance. Bicycling is a hazardous sport and is a means of transport undertaken at your own risk; wear a helmet, a rear view mirror and do not wear earphones for group safety please.
