Today is Monica's 30th birthday. I wish her better luck than she had
as a 29-year-old, starting with another successful comeback next year.
Monica has accumulated some amazing statistics in her career, and I
think I've come up with another one: she has beaten every world
number one since the rankings were introduced in 1975, with the
exception of Tracy Austin whom she never played.
Happy birthday Monica, and Merry Selesmas to one and all!
