Aiko Nakamura made a stunning début on the WTA Tour at Bali. The 20-
year-old Selesian from Japan had never previously reached the main
draw of a WTA tournament, but did it in style this week:

2r + Jennifer Hopkins, 4-6 6-3 6-4

MAIN DRAW:
1r + AI SUGIYAMA [3], 6-4 7-6 (7/1)
2r - Marlene Weingärtner, 5-7 3-6
