RE: [seattleschoolofaikido] Cleaning, Meeting, Seminar

Robert has volunteered to open the dojo at 6:45 on sunday.  therefore, anybody who would like to come and experience "invitation to silence," for a donation to the dojo of $5 is more than welcome.  the main gist of the meditation is recognizing that your body extends beyond your skin, and that silence can refresh your body the same way a glass of water does when you've been working so hard that you've forgotten to drink all day and you can feel the water entering your body.

it is simple, don't be shy, email me if you have more questions.

thank you,
m.

hello to everyone:

i mentioned earlier that i've been offering opportunities for meditation for about a year now.  after training on tuesday, i thought i could host meditation at the dojo, and ask that anyone who would like to come to bring $5 to donate to the dojo.

my first opportunity to do this would be this sunday, and possibly monday, but i will commit to sunday at 7 p.m. right now.  if anybody from the dojo would be able to come and unlock the door at 6:50, i will invite all of my regular people tomorrow to come on sunday.  i don't know if i'll get more regulars because the uw and su students might be more likely to come, or less because the eastside people might not come.  i usually have between 6 and 18 people show up out of a group of 50 who've come on and off over the last year.  mostly because i usually only give 24 hours notice.  i would like to set up a regular meeting time at the dojo and see if it can generate any sort of funds.  this would be an opportunity for regular dojo members to donate a little more, and receive a little something in exchange.

my meditation is simple, and all should feel welcome.  if i get a commitment from someone to open the door on sunday, i'll send out my "beginner's info" sheet to aid you in deciding if you would like to attend.  i'll personally donate at least $10 for each session that i host at the dojo.  i'll also start paying regular dues on the next night that i train, [hopefully sometime this week!]

thank you,
michael
