As you may have read in the announcement posted on the bulletin board, the founder of our school, Mary Heiny, needs a hip replacement.  Her senior students and supporters from around the country have mobilized to collect money to fund this operation.   As a sign of respect for Mary, and in appreciation for her work at Seattle School of Aikido, the Board would like to send a donation to Mary in the name of the school.  There is a brown envelope on the desk (to which the fundraising letter is now attached).  If you feel so moved, please put a contribution, preferably cash,  in the envelope.  On May 28, we will collect the money and forward it to Mary.   Thanks in advance for your generosity.
