The walls are re-plastered and painted, so it’s time to put the carpet down.  We are replacing ALL of the carpet; the landlord’s insurance will pay for part of the cost.   Here is the plan for the work:

Thursday evening Feb 7 at 8:00 the iaido group will move stuff from the carpeted area to the mat so that carpet installation can proceed smoothly.  

WE NEED YOUR HELP!  If you are available from 8-9 p.m. Thursday, please come to the dojo and help.  There is a hand truck waiting at the ready to help with moving the refrigerator and maybe other things, but many hands will move much stuff in the quickest way possible.

Friday Feb 8 at 6:30 a.m. NO PRACTICE.  Carpet installation will happen in the morning. 

Friday 5:30 p.m. WE NEED YOUR HELP.  Restore the mat to a useable condition and put things back more or less in place.  It was suggested that the bookshelf  stay in the front of the dojo for the time being,  but the desk will be returned to its usual place, I guess. 

After the mat is cleared, TRAINING WILL TAKE PLACE on Friday evening.
