Subject: [seattleschoolofaikido] Dojo cleanup this Saturday Dec 8 from1:30-3:00

STATUS:
The heater corner / men's dressing room carpet is still wet, but the
dojo is functional.
Next week the landlord will come with a plasterer to get an estimate and
a re-plastering plan. (Can't re-plaster until things dry out, they
say.)
If the carpet doesn't dry out soon, we'll tear it out (we might anyway),
but there is no point in replacing the carpet till the plastering is
finished.

THEREFORE:
On Saturday afternoon please come armed with a rag so we can wipe dried
up plaster dust off the stuff that got flooded. After crud removal,
we'll rearrange and/or pack things away in a temporarily functioning
arrangement until the reconstruction work is done.
I'm thinking this is a job for 4-6 people, not masses, so don't
rearrange your holiday party plans to come help. On the other hand, if
you can spare an hour and/or would like to be in on re-visioning the
dojo space* while we have a chance, please come.
*For example, maybe this is the time to get rid of the monster
refrigerator and replace it with something smaller and more energy
efficient.

Thanks to all, especially Mike, who have participated in the recovery
process so far. Please let me know if you might be present on Saturday
afternoon.

Christy
