Hello all,
If you have been to class lately, you may have noticed a bright yellow flyer
in the dressing room, about workshops in Formal Consensus.
Formal Consensus is a consensus based decision making system that has a
structure, and lets people have all the good things we like about
consensus--listening to people, cooperating, coming to a decision that is
best for the group--without the drawbacks of long, long meetings and one
person blocking a decision.
The workshops are Sept. 9 and 10 for an Introduction to Formal Consensus,
and the 16th and 17th for an advanced workshop, both taught by C.T. Butler,
who developed it. (I'm going to try to attach the flyer and flow chart).
If you are at all interested, let me know, and if you know people who might
be interested I'd appreciate it if you'd pass the information on. It's a
terrific opportunity to learn consensus from someone who has years of
experience doing it. For any questions people can contact me by email or
phone (catherine@... or 206-522-3584.
Thanks,
Catherine
