Thanks for the class, David. I thought I should let you know that I won't be able to attend the class this coming Wednesday, though I plan to be there the week after.

On a related note, I have been feeling sick and I'm not sure if I should come to class until I am fully recovered, for fear of infecting more people. Anyone feel particularly strongly about this issue? I'll definitely stay home if anyone is concerned.

So far we have been exploring connection through iriminage in response to
yokomen and shomen. We'll continue this theme with tzuki. There is also
the larger issue of irimi and tenkan that would be very useful to address in
more detail. If you are interested please, come and contribute.
