To All Parents,

Welcome to the 2009 season! I thought I would take a minute to
mention some important news for the new season.

First of all, you are all aware that we now have two teams. The
youth team in Palo Alto is managed by Aaron Soloman and his coaches.
The Jr. High team in Palo Alto is managed by Paul Simko and the youth
team in Cupertino is managed by Norm Boccone. Each team is
responsible for its own communication. They will use the Yahoo group
site calendar to post practice and games times.

Uniforms were ordered in Nov and they will arrive in another week.
My plan is to have them distributed before the first game on 1/25.
This means that I plan having them at your practice on 1/18, if all
goes to plan.

Practice will continue for Sunday 1/11 and 1/18. Games will begin on
1/25. The schedule is very close to completion and when it is, it
will be distributed promptly. We will post all games on the
calendar. You can figure that we play each Sunday, except for 2/15
which is Presidents weekend, and we end on 3/22.

For players safety, we require that everyone use mouthpieces. It is
easy for players to lose their mouthpiece. Please remind them to
keep it secure. I recommend they keep all their rugby gear in a
small duffle bag.

Thanks and I hope that everyone enjoys the 2009 season!

Regards,
Bob.
