Re: [seahawkyouth] Second U10 half-time practice: Sunday May 17, 11-1

Just in from USA Rugby.

Looks like we'll be given 30 free tickets. Everyone needs to decide what to do with them. They will be at will call. They are meant for the players but since most have already brought tickets they can maybe be used for other things.

The game will be only 4-5 minutes max.

Stanford need to bring their jerseys so we can play in alternative strips....

Subject: [seahawkyouth] Second U10 half-time practice: Sunday May 17, 11-1

We had a good turnout on Sunday for the first practice for the USA-Ireland U10 half time game: 15 boys and girls, and half a dozen coaches and adult helpers. The kids were able to learn some new skills as well as dust off some of their old ones.

The next practice will be on Sunday May 17, 11am to 1pm at Cupertino MIddle School. We're starting an hour earlier than normal, since about half the player who showed up last Sunday would otherwise have on conflict with a fundraiser in the afternoon.

Chris and the rest of the coaches are still trying to finalize the size and number of teams: we'd really like everyone to have a chance to play, and we're open to having large sides or two different games if numbers permit.

So any U10 player, either from the Silicon Valley or Peninsula Seahawks, is warmly welcome to attend the next practice session. Hope to see you there
