The Peninsula Seahawks and the Silicon Valley Seahawks will face off
in the season-opening match. This friendly match between these two
sister clubs is a great way to kick off the season.

The Peninsula Seahawks will host the game Sunday, January 25 at Palo
Alto High School Football Field. Games will begin at 12:30, players
should arrive by 11:30. Rain or shine.

Uniforms (jerseys and socks) will be arriving for those who ordered
them (Shorts are somewhere over the South Pacific and will arrive the
following week).

PLEASE HAVE YOUR PLAYERS ARRIVE AT 11:30. This way we can get
uniforms distributed and everyone warmed up, and in their positions.
I know that some have religious school or other commitments that may
conflict with the earlier time - in these cases please contact your coach.

ALSO, make sure players have their mouthpieces - they are mandatory.

There will be refreshments and hot dogs after the game. Rugby has a
wonderful tradition of socializing after the game. I encourage all
players to plan on staying after the game to meet the members of the
opposing team.
