Just putting all the info in one post So here it is for all to see I
think I have everything covered in this one post. I want to make this
an annual event. Possibly one of the biggest in the country like a
Daytona 500 of mower racing. Where everyone is welcome and can come
and race with the best in the country.

OK We will call this the Savannah Valley Speedway Southeastern
Invitational

. I am cordially inviting all racers to this event regardless of what
group you run with or what your rules are. Trophy's will be awarded
for the top 3 in only the sanctioned ARMA classes. BUT Everyone is
welcomed to come race with us on this day. ALL ARMA safety gear is
required to be worn. All machines will be inspected for safety. We
want to use this event to bring all the racers from the sotuheastern
region of the US together for a fun day of racing and a get together
to see what everyone is about and view the different types of
machines. Everyone is welcome to come.
This includes the Allegany racers and anyone else wanting to join
us on Nov. 17th. So come on out and meet and greet, race your mower
learn a little teach a little and what ever else you do on race
day...

There will be no race fees, however anyone wanting to and has a
machine that fits the rules to run in the ARMA sanctioned classes
must be ARMA members that will cost $25.00. Your membership will be
good thru the 08 season. Plus as a member you will recieve close to
$100.00 in goodies from Amsoil our Sponsor. All drivers plus one pit
person/crew will be allowed in the pits for free. ALL others will be
required to purchase a $5.00 pit pass to stay in the pits.

This will not only be be the TN Championship series but a day in
which all southeastern racers can come together at one track be fully
insured and meet everyone and have fun. It will also count as BTMRA
08 club points and will count as the 08 TN championship series
points. In essence we will be racing two points series during the 08
season. SO far we have this first event at Savannah Valley speedway
then the Stevenson race will count towards this series also. We will
figure out which other events will count towards this series. We are
looking at a possible 4 race series between the ETLMRA and BTMRA to
determine the TN Champions. Wow this will be the first time we have a
real Series amongst the TN racers regardless of affiliation to
determine the TN Champions. Cool deal huh!!! We will talk a bit more
this weekend at the rogersville race. So as you can see this event is
stacking up to be a whopper for both clubs and as stated earlier we
hope to see many of the other racers from AMRA and the Crouch's group
to come on out and join us for a day of fun and racing.

Track is fast and smooth 210 foot straights 30 feet wide all the way
around with a slight right on one striaght and big wide turns. This
is an awesome track. USLMRA held a double race there this past summer
and track was awesome both days. This event is hosted by Goodners
Equipment and the ETLMRA racers will be running with us. SO get ready
for the FAll shoot out. Here is more info

Tenative Schedule subject to change.

ALL TIMES EASTERN TIMES
9 am to 11pm Registration and tech
11:15 drivers meeting
11:30 practice by class starts.
12:00 noon races starts Sanctioned classes first up then non
sanctioned classes

Race format
Rolling starts for all races.
10 lap heat races start positions by random draw
20 lap features start by how finish in heats
Afterwards then any match races that arise will take place. Match
races will be 10 laps

Every one is welcome to camp on site however there are no hook ups.

EXIT (27) Paul Huff Parkway, off I75 in Cleveland, Tennessee is the
best way to get to the track. Goodner's Race Site is 16 miles from

Hi Guys found your web page looks great, hey we raced last year in
perth for the first time, had 8 ride on mowers and had a ball. Racing
again on jan 22 2006 have  more than 20 mowers so far and sponsors to
help with a few cost. We are currently racing at my place south of
perth on the grass (lawn that is )and are talking to the local dirt
cart club in using there trace for next year. Would like to start a
inc club as we are outgrowing my back yard. Can you guys give any
advice on setting up a club and rules etc? in Perth WA.

Well the day came, which for moment the heavens from above would put a
stop to it. I would like to thank all members that got in and done
there bit to make the day a HUGE success. For the chiso 500 it was not
looking good for the sunny coast racers, As the bundy boys came down
in force and where the hot contenders for taking the major prize out
for the day. But as usual the sunny coast racers rose to the
occassion, with Slav the DARK HORSE turning up at lunch time to not
only have the quickest lap time to take out the  checkated flag for
the Chiso 500 with harry from bundy right up his clacka running 2nd at
matt from team Rene Running in 3rd.
And not for get the girls in there race day once again Kerry the Mower
Women won it again for thr 4th yr running with Mrs Chiso 2nd and
amanda third well done girls. So once again thankyou to ever1 that put
up there hand and made a grat day of it..... Cant wait for the next
meet!!!!!!

we are wantin your help/info on being able to race our mowers around
the south east qld area at speedways or the like ... we have been to
yandina and had a ball, we were also was asked to be on blokes world
live at willowbank raceway , again had a ball and kept a crowd
entertained .we support the childrens foundation in any way we can....
there is 12 mowers up and running at the moment .... hope you can give
us any feedback on events or tracks that we could attend .....

ok fellas , get ya thinkin caps on ... we need $550 (inc gst) for our
3mt long and 1mt high banner. it sounds a bit , but for somthing like
yandina speedway we need that size (it'll only be $40 less if it was
2mtx1mt high) this is through Sign Artisan (mark) in noosa industrial
estate. Would be good for 8th oct , but i aint got the funds to cover
it meself ....... so , have u got something in ya shed/around the
house that can be sold for a bita cash for the club ???? Have I
(chiso).. u maybe askin your self !!! dont worry fellas i got a heap
shit around ere that i'll try (yes try !!) and offload on ebay ...oh ,
anyone lookin for a rusty 8mm bolt (with nut) for a buck ?? only

Just an up date on the leader board for the BEST ROLL OVER..
Hatzy set the presendence for the roll over catorgory, With his crash
em into the fence,Bounce off the fence and roll the mower.. thanxs
hatzy for setting the standard,Not to be out done on the 2nd practice
day Mark the Mower Man decide it was time for him to get into the
action with a great roll on the top corner and just to add some piro
fire works set the mower into a ball of smoke .. On our third practice
day THE PRESIDENT decided it was time for him to step up to the plate,
Not to b out done on the bottom corner the president has given it a
gut full bounced of the bank rolled the mower which ended up on top of
him, After mower was released from the preso grasp it was found that
he had 2 broken fingers possible crack wrist... So well done PRESO u
have now hit the front in the roll over awards,Hatzy not far behind in
2nd and Mark in 3rd with his smokin attempt..

Saturday October 1 and Sunday October 2 we will fill Queensland
Raceway, Willowbank (Ipswich) with more blokes stuff than you can
shake a tinnie at.
