Cyclists,

I just got this message from our local Cat 1 National Champ, Mike Olheiser.  He’s secured a slot on the team going to the Master’s World Championships in Salzburg, Austria in August.  He needs some fundraising to cover travel and lodging expenses.  To help out with that, Mike is holding fundraiser event at his house at 1317 Ward Avenue in Five Points on Sunday, July 9 from 5-8 PM.  Mike has a nice place with a cool back yard, perfect for hanging out.

Put it on your calendar and come on down.  We all want Mike to be able to “represent” for the good ol’ US of A and Huntsville.

If you can’t make the party, I’m designating my July 8 Coldwater ride as an official World Championship Pass-the-Hat ride.  I’ll be collecting donations for Mike before, during and after the ride.  They proceeds will be applied towards lottery tickets so he can set up his own Pro Tour team with his Power Ball winnings.  (Just kidding.)
