RE: [sccc-racers] Tour de Tuscaloosa : Criterium and Road Race

Is there a website for the event? It's on their calendar - http://www.druidcity.org/cgi-bin/webcal/webcal.cgi?function=webmonth&month=03&year=2007&cal=DCBC+Calendar, but not advertised on their website - http://www.druidcity.org/.

Subject: [sccc-racers] Tour de Tuscaloosa : Criterium and Road Race

Just a heads up for something you might want to put on your racing calendar:

My old club in Tuscaloosa, Druid City Bicycle Club, will be hosting a USCF sanctioned
criterium (crit) and road race on the weekend of 24/25 March 2007.

The Tour de Tuscaloosa presented by VeloCity Pro Cycle will include:

1) A crit on Saturday 24 March. The challenging 6-corner course will have the
riders traveling east on the strip in front of Timmerson square, turn right on 22nd
ave, turn left on University, turn left on 21st avenue, turn left on Jack Warner,
then left on Greensboro making the tough climb back up to the Timmerson Square
strip.

2) A road race on the hilly, lightly traveled roads surrounding Lake Lurleen will be
held on day two of the event, Sunday 25 March.
