I just want a healthy Tim Duncan for the playoffs. These regular
season games don't mean too much right now. I think the Spurs
pretty much have the #2 seed wrapped up. It would be good if Duncan
did come back for the last few games, so he won't be rusty for the
playoffs.

> In a nutshell, the Dallas Defense played outstanding while
remaining effective offensively. San Antonio was out shot in every
category. San Antonio was outrebounded 51-35, and were out-assisted
19-11. They fell to Dallas in steals and in blocks and of course in
points. What this game means is absolutely nothing. If Dallas fans
remember one thing is that Cleveland remembered what we did to them
and they did it right back to us 8 days later. It does give Dallas
a boost and a feeling of playoff readiness. It is a game that most
Spurs fans should forget and put out of their minds. Duncan is more
the focus of the Spurs attack (offensively and defensively) than
Dirk is for the Mavs. A major point for the Dallas fans is the fact
that we won on a nationally televised game, where the Mavs showed
the entire world we are no longer the 'allas Mavs', we've got D,
we're the 'Dallas Mavs'. Dallas also demonstrated to the world the
importance of such a great coach in Avery "The Li'l General" Johnson
and it showed how deep from 1 to 12 the Mavs really are.

> Like I said before, I am sure San Antonio bounces back hard on
their next opponent and I wouldn't doubt ol' Pop pulls a few new
wrinkles out for the playoffs. San Antonio won the season series 3-
1. San Antonio is 4 games up on the Mavs with 7 games remaining.
For the Mavs to win the division Dallas must go 7-0 and San Antonio
must go 2-5 or worse. I don't see that happening. That's a bit
unrealistic if you ask me. Sure, it would be great for the Mavs,
but I sincerely think San Antonio gets at least 3 wins if not more.
The Spurs need DUNKan back, the Mavs need to keep listening to
Avery. Maybe, just maybe, we could meet again in the Conference
Finals. Now, that would be a series to remember just like a few
years ago. Hopefully though, a different outcome might take place,
ya never know.
