Well, first, I have to say the Sonics are not "posers". They are legitimate contenders to win, not only the West, but the NBA Championship. I would never disrespect a team the caliber of Seattle and call a victory over them hollow. Any time the Spurs can beat them is welcomed. A few years ago, the Spurs played Dallas in the playoffs w/o Dirk and the Mavs gave the Spurs all they could handle. It just goes to show how injuries can effect a team at any given time. I will feel better when they do beat the Sonics with Ray Allen, but if he does not play, I have no problem with that. As far as Seattle not being any good until Shaq left LA, don't forget they also had Phil Jackson. You may not care for him, but his record speaks volumes. Those 9 rings are for real. You strip a team of it's coach and dominate center, and you have what you have now, a lower tier team that will continue to struggle. Sonics were not sorry with Allen. They just couldn't beat LA, and neither could anyone else
but SA. At the same time, they whipped SA two years in a row. Lastly, I also have issues with TP. I saw Eva Longoria first and if he doesn't backoff, well...
just kidding
