Wow what a game!!! First of all, WHATS UP BREW?!?!?! Cool man, so
happy to see you back! Congrats on your daughter. Thats the most
important thing. Ok, game was fantastic. AWESOME AWESOME drumline
intro and halftime show. The only thing that kinda sucked was that
the apparent Boyz II Men performance was replaced with Brian
McKnight, who did a fantastic rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.
Gosh, the Spurs looked great. A little shaky at first, but they got
it going. Tim Duncan... UNSTOPPABLE. 30 points and 14 rebounds. 24
(I think) more points from Ginobili. Brent Barry started knocking
down the late 3. Rose looked great. Brown played very well, as did
Rasho. The only guy that sucked for the Spurs was Beno Udrih, who
basically ran around, committed fouls and turnovers and scored no
points. What a debut. Spurs easily defeat the Kings. Next up are
the Lakers, who killed the Nuggets in their first game, but got their
asses kicked by the Jazz the following night. Should be
interesting. Anyway, nice to have basketball back!
