Re: [SA Spurs Rock] HELL YEAH BABY!!!

Did you catch the Blazers New York Knicks game the other night? The refs botched two calls bigtime going down the stretch when the Blazers had a 2 point lead. New York shot the ball and missed Damon Stoudamire went up got the rebound starts back up court Vin Baker comes crashing down on top of Damon (a painstakingly obvious foul that was not called) causing the ball to squirt out of his hands right into Marburys hands, he then jukes and jukes at the three point line as time was running out steps over the line with both feet puts up a shot and was fouled by Zach Randolph. He is awarded three free throws even tho everyone in the place except the refs saw he was clearly over the three point line with both feet. Of course Marbury makes all three giving the Knicks a 1 point lead with 3.5 seconds to go. Blazers had no time outs so Damon screams down the court and just barely misses the game winning shot. This was so obvious and Blatant refs turning a blind eye to help the Knicks in thier efforts to make the playoffs. I have complained many times about officiating but this was a clear cut case of botched reffing and just sickened my stomach realizing the tight race we are in to make the playoffs for the 22nd consecutive year. That one game could cost us a chance at the playoffs! And of course nothing comes out of the NBA offices regarding the officiating even tho it was so blantantly obvious(did I say that already?) that two crucial calls at the end of the game were missed. Damon if the foul is called would have walked to the line putting the Blazers up by 4 points with about 10 seconds left on the clock. Instead because of the terrible missed calls he gets to shoot 3 free throws putting the Blazers behind. SO one could argue that was a 5 point turn around handing an official loss directly from the NBA offices to the Blazers. Sucks ass!!!!!!!!

As for Minnesota. I wouldnt be too concerned about them they always crash in the first round. Sacramento is looking like crap as well with Webber back. San Antonio looks to have the best shot next to the Lakers of making the finals once again tho I have to say that the team NO ONE wants to see make the playoffs is my Blazers..... Will we make it? Stay tuned to the last ten games....... By the way anyone catch Miles last night against the Celtics. The man was HUGE scoring a career high 31 points with all but three shots coming as high flying dunks or layins. This kid is a keeper!!!!! Anyway thats all from Portland!

damn, the Spurs are kicking it into high gear, and nows the time to
do it... we play Utah Friday... but SUNDAY, the final matchup with
the Lakers, winners of 9 straight.  If the Spurs win that game....
its gonna be ON come playoff time.  Frickin Minnesota keeps winning
though.... bastards.
