I got this by virtue of an MLS group on Facebook that I'm on, and thought some of you on this mailing list might be interested in writing about the Quakes for his site...?

Subject: Looking for MLS Writers

Hey Guys,

As some may be aware, I own and operate a sports forum site called TheScoreBoards.com.  While it covers all professional sports in the U.S. and Canada, I have recently been pushing to increase the MLS/Soccer side.  Unfortunately, I have not had much success bringing members to the forums since 99% of fans visit only BigSoccer.

Nonetheless, I am working to add on an area for people to write articles and blogs about the sport and teams.  For starters, I would like to find a person to cover each team.  If things work out, it could certainly branch out to include more writers.

If interested, just reply to me here.  In doing so, I'll likely ask you to write me a sample article about something regarding your favorite MLS team as if you were doing an article.  It can be a trade, signings, record, big game, injury, etc.  I'll attach an email for you to send the article to then.  Unfortunately, it is unpaid as we are merely trying to bring some popularity to the sport.  I'm just looking for someone who would like to cover the news and opinions of their favorite team at least once a week.

The articles only have to be a couple paragraphs to a page in length, and that should be done in the sample.  Hope you guys are interested!

-Ty
