He is lucky to be on this team in my opnion because he has limited
versatility on a team that has always been (and had to be) versitile.
Ian's game is: kick ball past defender, run fast, beat defender to ball,
kick again. He has no vision or creativity and has not developed much
at all. Granted he has had injuries, but how long has he been with the
team? This team has developed over the years and I think the 2005
variety is a better team overall than the team was in 2001. But Ian is
pretty much the same guy.

He should be thankful that he has been able to hang around during 2
championship seasons and even got some playing time in both games I
believe.

Sounds like I missed an intense game. Did Russell really just "nudge" the guy as the website says? Were the red cards deserved? How did the referee do?...

Hi Scott, No, he did not just "nudge" him - it was a two-handed push into the defender's back. The ball was coming in the air (or else had taken a big bounce)...
