My feeling is the management has done very well in the wake of the mass
exodus of Donovan, Ekelund, et al. I think Clark, Davis and O' Rourke have
great promise as a young midfield. So long as O Rourke doesn't turn into the
Chris Carrieri of 2005. I think the defense will be better with Barrett back
and a healthy (we hope!) Robinson in the middle. And Onstadt is a rock in
goal. Not to mention the reaquisition of the great Cerritos, who I think is
good for 10-12 bulges of the onion bag.
Last year, let's face it, we were crap a lot of the season and barely
squeaked into the playoffs. I think the new young talent is just what we
needed. Let's see what Dom can do with a team mostly of his own making!
