I went to Upton Park to see my beloved West Ham two seasons ago. They played ‘Forever Blowing Bubbles’ before the game and at the conclusion, THAT’S IT! Stop the insulting Disco filth NOW, Quakes!
Doesn’t matter. I support the Sharks 100% AND the Quakes! Anyone can do both, but financially if I have to choose, Spartan is the better choice. My 4 year old can figure that out.
That’s racism. I’m Irish-American, but don’t give two f***s if there’s Irish blood on the Quakes. Why should the Quakes sign BLOOD? To nourish racists??? No! I’d still support them if there were no Americans in the side, ferchris’sakes! I don’t want those people watching my team if they can’t see beyond race.
WUSA needs to go away. I know families with just girls for children that love the game, but don’t go to Quakes games because they’re going to ‘Rays games. Sorry ladies, but footy isn’t even big enough in this country to support 1 league let alone 2.
Some Guesses why 'Quakes aren't drawing...
1. Yallop keeps starting Ibsen (or playing him) and he's stinking up the place.
2. P.R. is feeble. (I think the current "the way the game was ment to be played" campaign is way lame)
3. No more Crazy George :-{
4. Baseball "Bamp Ba Bamp Ba Bamp" on the P.A.
5. The Sharks are still in the running...
6. No Mexican player on the quakes, or on any other MLS team for the fickle fans.
7. The soccer families that used to take "all" the kids to the game now take the boys to see the 'Quakes and the girls to see the CyberRays...

I moved to Colorado 6 months ago...and ever since I moved away this list has been dried up and dead!
The Quakes are playing amazing soccer...and in First Place with the most points in MLS!!

I noticed only 8 thousand in attendance on Sat???!!!???
I always thought if the Quakes started winning and playing well that the stands would be filled.
I flashback to when I was a kid goin to games back in the early 80's and the stadium was always packed!
Who's fault is it? Marketing? Press?
I was at the Rapids game the same night and we had 23 K and it was raining the entire game!
Well I just want to say that even though I am not attending the games, I still am watching them all on TV and
will continue to support them from a di! ! stance. Kinda cool that my new team is playing very good soccer as well :-)
