Howdy,

I just joined the group and I apologize that my first question has less
to do with the Padres than the pre-game music.

You know that "Play Ball" country song that they've been playing forever
before games ("whatever the inning, whoever is winning", etc.)? It
seems to me like the song has changed. It used to talk about the love
of going out to the stands and watching a game; now it's about some
couch potato watching a game on TV with an "extra large pizza". Are
these different verses in the same song, or did they re-record a
"fat-slob" version so that more people could relate?

Does anyone know the story on this song?
