Brian lawrence had a decent game for them but like I said before, they really
needed to bring in a veteran starter or two to balance out the rotation. Even
Shane reynolds would have been a decent addition.

I don't how much ANY pitching coach could do with the current staff.
So far, I haven't noticed any difference after the Padres fired
booker.
