Well they could definately use him. I know the pitching was much better in 98
but he was the pitching coach then and many of the pitchers gave him a lot of
credit for their success.

Well, he was hired as an assistant GM in Toronto but resigned when
it became clear he wasn't going to get a shot at the GM job. Davey
Lopes convinced him to be the pitching coach for the Brewers and
then the Brewers fired Lopes. Now that he's back with the Padres,
maybe we'll seem him at the major league level soon.
