Well, the problem with the Canadian Open was that without having
competed in at least 2 GP events, he wasn't eligible to take part in
an ISU Open competition. So thankfully, Emanuel picked up this spot
along with some cash which I'm sure was helpful.

How true. Not it seems that Elvis has a shin splint. This isn't a
big deal in and of itself, but put them all together..... He still
says that he'll compete next week.

Me too. With all of Elvis' down time, you'd think that he'd of had
much opportunity to work on his choreography...so at least that aspect
of his skating should be improved.

The qualifying groups are posted on the SC site. Elvis is in A along
with Ben and Fedor. Emanuel is in B.
