I agree ... first Elvis was going to compete at his Grand Prix assignments
with no problem, then Canadian Open was going to be no problem, then ... I
understand the part about not letting your fellow competitors see your
weaknesses, but I really don't know what to believe from the Stojko camp
anymore, to be honest. There's been a pattern of putting a rosy spin on
things for the media whilst in reality Elvis courts and/or suffers
injuries.

I really hope in my little heart of hearts that he *isn't* going to be
held up by the judges; IMO, his presentation marks in particular at past
Canadians have been generous to say the least. Having said that, however,
I am curious as to whether or not Brian Orser has been able to effectively
camouflage Elvis's deficiencies in the posture/extension department.
