Re your request, I will do my best to pass on any worthwhile info
regarding Emanuel's progress at Canadians. I will be watching and taping
Canadians next week (Emanuel's and Fedor Andreev's programs at least) so
any fluff pieces, pearls of wisdom from Rod Black etcetera, will be duly
noted :-D

I'm really sorry that the only thing that U.S. fans have seen thus far
from Emanuel is his free program from S.A.

I'm curious also as to what he was doing during his two months away from
the ice, but he seems pretty closed-mouthed about specifics ... the
closest that he came to divulging what went on during the summer was in
Beverly Smith's article last fall. Whatever it was, I'm glad that the
soulsearching/meditating/getting drunk every night/whatever it was seemed
to pay off for him in terms of his commitment to skating.
