This is something that has bothered me for a while now... The lack of support
Emanuel receives from Canadians. Sure, they cheer for him when he wins, but when
he makes a mistake, they are far too eager to show their fangs. I witnessed this
last week when I attended Skate Canada, and heard many people making catty
remarks about Emanuel when he would make a mistake...... But when Jeff or Ben
would make a mistake, it was like someone slapped their own sons across the
face. Emanuel does not get the support that the other Canadian men receive.
As for that article, the title of it was really rude. I spoke with Emanuel in
Halifax, and he is far from cocky. I've read many similar articles, ripping into
Emanuel, but yet I never see the same type of stories about Jeff or Ben....
