I just got my copy of Ice Skating Magazine in the mail. As you know
Emanuel was the cover story in the most recent addition. The article
is 4¼ pages long.
A few highlights of the article include: Emanuel thinks horoscopes
are fun and interesting. He lives in downtown Vancouver and when he
wakes up he likes to view the ocean and mountains from his window.
He loves training at Burnaby 8 Rinks. He thinks his best at a
technical stand point was at the Canadian Nationals this year but
the program with the most quality to it was his short program at the
Grand Prix Final. Joanne McLeod designs his costumes, comes up with
the concepts of his programs, choreographs the programs and does the
editing. Emanuel plans to skate through 2006 and as for skating in
2010 he said he will cross that bridge when he comes to it but would
think it would be neat if he could participate in it in some way.
ISM asked what life philosophy he would give to his 2 younger
brothers and he said "What you put in is what you get out". That is
the general rule of life.
The pictures of Emanuel are very nice also - He is wearing the
Canadian skull cap with a black sleeveless shirt, he is wearing one
black fingerless glove on his left hand, wearing a silver watch on
the left wrist and a black bracelet on his right wrist. He really
looked good!!!!
I highly recommend buying this magazine - you will not be
disappointed!
