Okay, skating season is under way again - THANK GOD - and I will very soon
update my Emanuel fansite again ... I know I haven't updated it in several
months, but there really wasn't that much new ;o)
This post is going to be a bit longer ... sorry about that, but bear with me to
the end on this one, okay??? You'll see why ... you might end up with an
authentic autograph from our guy ...!!! Thanks!!!

Anyway, I wanted to ask once again for any kind of contributions any of you
might be able to make ... here is what I am looking for:

- PHOTOS ... if you have met Emanuel and have taken nice candid pictures ... or
if you have good photos of Emanuel on the ice ... I would love to add your
photos to the website ... I will of course give you full photo credit, and put
up your e-mail address and/or website URL along with the photos!!!

- SCREEN CAPS ... a lot of people (like me over here in Germany) don't get to
see much of Emanuel on TV ... so it would be nice to have some screen caps of
his recent competitions ... can anyone help with that???
It would certainly be greatly appreciated.

- FAN REPORTS ... again, if you have met Emanuel I would love to put up a short
(or long, whatever you want) report of your meeting!
If you have seen him skate live at a show or competition ... I would also very
much like to put up your report on the website.

Even if you have only seen him skate on TV, and never met him ... if you have
anything positive to say about our guy I would love to hear it ... I would put
that up in a special fan section of the website.

There is a good chance that Emanuel will see your comments ... I am quite sure
that he does know about my website ... I e-mailed his coach, Joanne McLeod, a
while ago and she e-mailed back thanking me for being so supportive of Emanuel
with my website!!!

Besides, I have every intention of meeting him again at the World Championships
in March over here in Germany ... and I will certainly tell him about the
website then! :o)

Which brings me to the next thing ... how about we surprise him with tons of
cards and letters???
I am willing to give any mail to Emanuel for you ... you'd have to send it to my
address by early March 2004, though!!!
I remember how happy he was about meeting his fans and receiving letters the
last time I met him, and I am sure he'd be very happy to get a bunch of cards
and stuff this time, too!!!
If you don't want to send a letter via snail mail you can send me an e-mail
(please more than just three sentences .. okay?) for him ... put something like
"Message for Emanuel" in the subject line, and I will print it without reading
it (promise)!

With both letters and e-mails I suggest that you wait until January or February
before sending it, but it would be great if I could get some feedback on who
would like to participate in this.
I don't want to post my address on a public group, but I will e-mail it to
everyone who wants to send a letter or card for Emanuel!!!

To make this a bit more appealing ... I am also willing to get some extra
autographs from Emanuel ... BUT ... only for those of you who EITHER send a
letter/card/e-mail for Emanuel OR have contributed to my website in one of the
ways mentioned above!!!!
Obviously, I can't get an unlimited number of autographs ... so I will randomly
choose a few people from all those who participate and get autographs for them
(if possible, I will also try to get them personalized).
I will choose and notify those people a few days before the competition if
possible!!!
The autographs will be sent out the week after I get back from the World
Championships.

Ooookaaaay ... I think this is it for today .... think I'm ready to write a
novel??? *grin*
