Whoah!!! Ben is skating this year??? That really surprises me. Last year at
Nationals when I talked to him he was pretty adament that it was his last
year and I couldn't seem to convince him otherwise. Glad someone did. Watch
out for him, Buttle, and newbie Shawn Sawyer (who last year wowed everyone
in Junior popping off triple axels like they were waltz jumps!) If those
guys have their game on, believe me it's going to be a VERY interesting
night. I see my good friend Jeff Lukasik is judging the A group which Sandhu
is in. Last year he made it very clear he was "amazed" by Sandhu's short
program. He was villified in the press for giving Stojko low marks in the
short, which was unfortunate. I thought he was right on the money. Sandhu's
short was much better.
