Greetings Friends!
I'm back in Florence, Oregon USA at the Sandboard Park again.
We just did a TV show for the Holland network with NSL champ, Josh
Tenge and world speed holder, Erik Johnson. The weather was excellent
and their host learned sandboarding in about 15 minutes. The next 2
days were spent rippin Sand Master and Honeyman park! We really had a
great time.
The locals here are getting better and I was really impressed today
by a video that a couple 12 year olds brought in that they had shot
the day before. Wow!
Sandboarding is really booming here. We rent hundreds of boards each
month and really see what is working and what to focus more attention
on. Everyone, I mean everyone, has a good time with this sport. I had
a 15 year old snowboarder rent a sandboard with his family then came
back at closing and told me it was the most fun he's had in his life.
Yeah, that's how I feel too!
Anyone who is a sandboarder would be proud of Sand Master Park and
especially the store. Over 100 boards on display in a true sandboard
shop. I love it here. It is so hard to leave here to go home but...
we have another TV show this weekend in southern California so I have
to go. However, I will return. Oh Yes, as soon as possible!
