Hello everyone,<br><br>It took awhile but now I
know why Maria isn't playing well this year and
playing not at all at this moment.<br><br>As you know,
Maria had to retire at Tokyo earlier this year due to
an unknown virus in her liver. She had recovered,
but she had the same problem again in Wimbledon.
Therefore she had no chance to win her first round match
there. She went straight home and had to have a hospital
check, which is finished now. She is presently
practicing again and will probably play in Ettenheim/South
Germany (ETA, 15.000) next week, before changing to the
US.<br><br>I wish Maria all the best and hope she will play a
good second half of this season, but first of all I
hope she will be totaly healty.<br><br>Gerrit
