She was on the commitments list for the main draw
of Knokke-Heist, but not in the draw

have pulled out. So she
probably /is/ injured or sick (although she isn't on the
WTA injury list). I wish her a speedy recovery if
this is the case.<br><br>It's a shame that she isn't
defending her title at Knokke-Heist. I was looking forward
to that, and it would have made the tournament
vastly more interesting, especially in a week with no
Tier I/II tournaments.<br><br>María's next committed
tournament is the qualifying for Stanford next week - it
would be nice to see her join Monica in the main
