The San Antonio Diablos Gay Flag Football League is SA's only GLBT Flag football league! It is open to anyone and any skill level, from football beginners to super bowl athletes, gay or straight, male, female, or transgendered.

The San Antonio Diablos joined the National Gay Flag Football League in 2009 and has represented San Antonio in 4 previous National Gay Bowls:

2009 Washington DC
2010 Phoenix
2011 Houston
2012 Denver

The league consists of several teams that play in a Spring and Fall season. At the end of the season, there is a tournament bracket, where the teams vie for first place as the best of the Alamo City.

The teams also travel to other Texas cities for games with those cityfs representative teams. A special competition team comprised of players from all of the league teams will travel to the annual National Gay Flag Football gGay Bowlh. The 2013 Gay Bowl will be help in Phoenix Arizona.

Additionally, the team participates in non-football events such as volunteering for local community organizations like local food pantries, CitiGroup Pride, and Fiesta. The team also has the distinction of being a social group with team outings throughout the year (sometimes every week!) like team tubing, camping, volleyball, softball, special events, and pub crawls.
